Dedicated to Our Mission

Empowering children facing adversity, Daniela's Wish is dedicated to spreading joy, alleviating hardships, and creating lasting memories in our local community of the Monmouth County region. We are a 100% volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Through compassionate initiatives including wish granting, toy drives, and outreach projects, we aim to inspire hope and provide support to children and families navigating difficult circumstances.

How We Began

Daniela's Wish began with a compassionate heart and a determined spirit. At just 7 years old, Daniela founded our organization in response to the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Witnessing the fear and uncertainty faced by children affected by the disaster, Daniela knew she had to take action. With unwavering resolve, she collected over 1,000 boxes of cookies and 300 new stuffed animals, sending them to Haiti to provide comfort to those in need.

In 2012, Hurricane Sandy struck Daniela's home state of New Jersey, leaving many children without their belongings and in need of support. Inspired to help her community, Daniela organized events and leveraged social media to collect over 3,000 books, new toys, and stuffed animals, distributing them to schools and children affected by the hurricane. This spirit of generosity and empathy laid the foundation for Daniela's Wish.

Today, Daniela's Wish continues to make a positive impact in the lives of children facing adversity. From granting wishes to providing support to those who are ill or in need, our organization is driven by the belief that every child deserves joy and hope, regardless of their circumstances. With a dedicated team of volunteers and supporters, we remain committed to spreading smiles and creating brighter futures for children in our community.
