Eric Kerecman, a retired law enforcement professional, dedicated 25 years to his community. He served as a police officer with the Township of Ocean Police Department and later as a detective with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office. Throughout his career, Eric has been committed to training the next generation of law enforcement officers and is still actively serving as an instructor at the Monmouth County Police Academy.
Beyond his law enforcement work, Eric is a certified scuba diving instructor with over 30 years of diving experience. He enjoys teaching in disciplines ranging from recreational, technical, and public safety diving for the novice diver through the advanced diver.
Eric has held several leadership roles within the Policeman’s Benevolent Association, including serving for many years as Secretary, Treasurer, and ultimately President. During his tenure as President, he was known for his integrity, dedication, and advocacy on behalf of fellow officers.
Today, Eric continues his commitment to service as Treasurer of Daniela’s Wish. After a long career protecting, serving, and supporting his community, he finds a sense of fulfillment in helping local children and their families find comfort, hope, and happiness during challenging times.
